Welcome to Capital Families Association, a multi-service charitable organization, providing education and support services to the families, children, youth and individuals throughout the western communities.
Mission
Capital Families Association is a registered charity providing a variety of services to people of all ages in the West Shore area of Victoria.
Capital Families Association works in partnership with community, families and individuals. We develop and implement programs that:
- Strengthen self reliance,
- Enhance community participation and well being,
- Provide opportunities for individuals and families to build the capacities and skills to meet life's challenges and thrive.
What We Do
Capital Families Association, serving families and individuals of all ages since 1980, offers the following programs: Family Counselling, Parent and Tot Drop In, Mother Goose, Best Babies Parent Support Group, Outreach to Young Parents, Food Security initiative, The Good Food Box, Sheez Girls Youth Groups, Gamers Paradise for Boys, REACH Young Parent & Child Centre, Whale Spirit Preschool, and Whale Spirit Early Enrichment Centre. We work from a community development perspective to help build individual and community resources to prevent crisis.
